It is a 475-hectare private reserve, located 50 minutes away from San Jose, on the road to the Atlantic coast. The property shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park and constitutes a buffer zone.
It offers visitors the following attractions and facilities: a hanging bridge accessible through a short walk; two gazebo observation areas; a video room; the tram ride with a naturalist guide (2.6 km through the primary rainforest and lasting approximately one hour and 20 minutes); 25 gondolas with capacity to seat six passengers plus the guide; well marked trails, a canopy tour; the butterfly and frog garden; the serpentarium; information center; restaurant and cafeteria.
Easy access for seniors, children and disabled visitors and even the aerial tram gondolas are wheelchair accessible.
