Poco a Poco Hotel is ideally placed, within walking distance from downtown Santa Elena, where many different attractions, shops and restaurants are located, and only 15 minutes drive from Monteverde Cloud Forest.
When it first opened, Poco a Poco had just 5 guestrooms, but “little by little”, as the name of the hotel stands for; it gradually developed to become a nice 32 deluxe small cozy hotel. All rooms are fully equipped: comfortable orthopedic beds, telephone, cable TV with DVD player, coffee maker, safe deposit box and hair dryer. The restaurant offers a taste of local products enhanced by exotic ingredients and an innovative fusion cuisine.
To relax after a full day of adventure, there is a heated swimming pool and wet bar, great during sunny days or clear nights. Parents can also relax while kids enjoy the adjoining children’s pool. The water purification system used is based on ionization and avoids the use of potentially harmful chemicals. Naroa Spa offers a large variety of massages and treatments using organic products, locally harvested.
There is also a library of classic DVD movies available to rent. Other services include wireless Internet connection and laptop computers for rent, Kid’s Club, Gym, laundry service and a large parking lot. In addition, the hotel has door frames, railings, ramps and parking spaces especially designed for disabled people.
