Azania Bungalows are located in front of Cocles Beach, 1.5 km South of Puerto Viejo on the road to Manzanillo, on the Southern Caribbean coast. The distance from San José to Puerto Viejo is 210 km or approximately 3:30 hrs. Just a few steps from the beach, the tropical rainforest in the background, the 10 spacious bungalows are privately set apart amidst lush gardens full of color and natural beauty.
Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, all bungalows are decorated with bamboo lamps and furniture, while ceiling fans, large windows with mosquito nets and high peaked roofs allow a refreshing natural air circulation. Each bungalow comfortably lodge up to four people, with one Queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in a mezzanine to provide privacy. They all come equipped with a refrigerator, a safe deposit box, hair dryer and a private deck with hammocks.
The Club House is the perfect place for enjoying a delightful tropical breakfast and fresh drinks, watching television, listening to some music or just relating to other guests. In addition, Azania Bungalows’s restaurant offers the possibility of discovering the local culinary culture combined with dishes from the South of the continent. Other facilities and services provided include a refreshing free-form swimming pool, a jacuzzi, laundry service, free wireless internet access, bicycle rental and private parking.
