Once more we are enjoying the turtle season in Tortuguero, where the Green turtles arrive to the beach to lay their eggs. The season runs from July to October for spawning and September to late November for the birth of the turtles.
It is important to remember, the months of September and October are excellent to visit Tortuguero; the visitors are able to enjoy drier days of the “Caribbean Summer” and have the experience to observe the nesting and the birth of the baby turtles.
