In addition to be renown as one of the happiest countries in the world, Costa Rica has now become the best destination to make friends. The Indy 100 by Independent Newspaper highlighted our country in the first position.
The most recent index included 65 countries around the world, being Costa Rica the number one, just followed by Mexico and Argentina in the top three.
One of the main characteristics to be considered in that index is the friendly people, the freedom and the peaceful to live. Costa Rica certainly is a free-army country which give its people the chance to live peacefully, and we can also decide our religion or political preference.
Kindness describes Costa Rican people; wherever you are, you will always hear a “good morning”, “good afternoon”, “thank you” or “it is a pleasure”.
We are active members of the most important tourist associations, both national and international.
