Located on a 150-acre private beachfront reserve in Playa Quisales, on the Nicoya Peninsula, Tango Mar offers the intimate exclusivity of a small, deluxe beach resort – an ecological mix of sea, sand, monkeys, wildlife and tropical flowers. The hotel features a total of 35 rooms in three different categories: BeachFront Rooms, Tropical Suites and Tiki Suites. All of them are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, mini bar, coffee maker, safe deposit box, telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer and a private bath (Tropical Suites and Tiki Suites have also a Jacuzzi).
There are also four different, beautiful and comfortable Villas offering a fully equipped kitchen and private pool. Breakfast and dinner are served at the Cristobal Restaurant, overlooking the ocean, in a casual yet romantic setting. This nice restaurant is decorated with bamboo and furnished with fine Cristobal wood. Before dining, guests can have a tropical cocktail on the new ocean side deck or at Tango Bar. For lunch and refreshments at the beach or poolside throughout the day, the new Rancho Grill El Pirata serves drinks, sandwiches, cocktails, salads and light meals.
Guests will also enjoy a game of tennis on the illuminated courts, take a refreshing dip in the pool or just relax with an aromatherapy massage or any other treatments at the Spa. Tango Mar has a 9-hole, par 3 and 4 Executive Golf Course, perfect for tuning up the short game.
