Few days ago, in the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in the world-known Guanacaste province arrived the first JetBlue flight with its Mint service from New York. Although this connection already existed, the modality of the new flight is one of the novelties in arrivals to Liberia, since the flight is one of the most exclusive internationally.
With this launch, Liberia became the first city in which JetBlue offers its exclusive Mint service in Latin America. In addition, JetBlue will be the only airline that will operate flights with fully reclining seats between Costa Rica and the United States.
The JetBlue flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport will arrive every Saturday at 2:49 pm to Liberia during high season with the aim of giving a premium service to all incoming and outgoing tourists who vacation from the Big Apple and its connections to Liberia.

The Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT) looks favorably on the increase in the arrival of new flights to the Northern Pacific side of the country, according to the Minister of Tourism, this is a work that dates back several months ago and that now pays off and will help to continue promoting the tourism industry in Guanacaste.
“The MINT plane offers more convenience to travelers and thus opens up new possibilities to attract tourists to Guanacaste. This is the materialization of the negotiations carried out for the benefit of Costa Rica, a personalized service to meet the needs of modern passengers that brings us ever closer to our main source of tourists, a potential market of 24 million people,” said the country’s Tourism Minister, María Amalia Revelo.
JetBlue Mint arrived in the Costa Rica airport thanks to a joint effort of CORIPORT, the airport’s concessionaire, the Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT) and the Guanacaste Tourism Chamber (CATURGUA). Approximately 3 thousand people are expected to arrive in Guanacaste within the new flight period.
