Villa Caletas is a luxury boutique hotel inspired by Tropical Victorian Architecture with a touch of Neo Classical influence. Prized not only for its location near Jacó Beach, design and décor, but also for its outstanding facilities and first class service. At 1150 feet above the Central Pacific Coast, on a cliff offering the best and widest ocean view, the hotel is located just one hour by car from San Jose and one hour and fifteen minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park.
Its main building is a tropical Victorian mansion with four standard rooms, six standard deluxe, 14 villas, two suites, seven junior suites, eight junior suites superior, one superior suite and three master suites.
All rooms have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, satellite TV, Wifi, telephone, coffee maker, mini bar, safe deposit box, hair dryer, bathrobe and cotton towels. In addition, junior suites and junior suites superior have a Jacuzzi and a terrace with ocean or mountain views. Suites and master suites offer also a private pool and an elegant living room.
Villas are slightly larger than a standard room, equipped with one queen bed; some of them have enough space to add one or two rolling beds, making them ideal for small families.
Villa Caletas offers two restaurants, El Mirador and L’Anfiteatro, serving a variety of national and international dishes, a snack bar in the exclusive volcanic sand Caletas Beach. The Beach Club is located only two kilometers from the main building and is equipped with sun beds, showers, restrooms, Jacuzzi and Spa.
Guests can either take the hourly transfer or walk through the rainforest trail that goes from the top of the mountain to Caletas Beach and take the chance to see white-face monkeys, toucans, coatis and many different plants and flowers. Close to the end of the path, there is a creek where guests can plunge in and relax with the sounds of the forest.
The hotel also has an “infinity” pool, which creates the illusion of being part of the ocean, the Serenity Spa, a gym with yoga programs and sporting activities, a boutique, a Concierge Desk, meeting rooms, amphitheater and parking lot.
Guests can discover some breathtaking views of the Nicoya Gulf, visit Tortuga Island or even enjoy a romantic sunset cruise sailing aboard the “Caletas One”, the hotel’s private boat.
In addition to the rooms and facilities of the Villa Caletas hotel, there is the Zephyr Palace, a luxury mansion that offers outstanding views to the Pacific Ocean. It has seven thematic luxury suites: New World suite, Twentieth Years suite, Egypt suite, Oriental Suite, African suite, Royal suite and Imperial suite.
All suites have access to Internet, coffee maker, mini bar, DVD player and home theater, cable TV, a Jacuzzi, air conditioning, telephone, security box, cotton bathrobes and hair dryer. The Zephyr Palace has its own kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and room service; dinner is served in one of the two restaurants in the hotel. It also offers a dining room and lounge, an infinity edge pool, and an Art Gallery and Discotheque open for special events.
This mansion also offers laundry service, room service, concierge, bartender by the pool and cook under request. It is important to emphasize that all Zephyr Palace guests can enjoy Villa Caletas hotel facilities.
