Monteverde
The Cloud Forest Lodge is located in the beautiful Santa Elena-Monteverde area, four hours from San Jose downtown, in the Tilarán Mountain Range, at an altitude of 5000 feet above the sea level. Thanks to its elevation, this area is particularly rich in biodiversity and has lush green forests where more than 180 different species of birds can be observed.
This property rests on seventy acres of private property with four km of private trails, ideal for hiking or bird watching. Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge offers 20 rooms in 10 cozy bungalows, located on 3 acres of parkland and gardens.
All rooms have private bath, amenities, hot water and a patio where you can appreciate the beauty of our surrounding gardens and forest. The main building holds a bar, a restaurant, a television room and reading area and there is internet access. The building is strategically located so that the guests may enjoy impressive views of the mountains and the Nicoya Gulf, especially at dusk.
