Fonda Vela is located only 20 minutes away from Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, in a 35 acre property of lush forest and verdant pastures, excellent for bird watching and hiking. The hotel features 40 guestrooms: 20 Standard rooms and 20 Junior Suites. All of them have large windows with views of the forest, bringing the outside beauty into each comfortable and cozy room.
They are equipped with cable TV, telephone, coffee maker and mini bar. Junior Suites are more spacious and have a small refrigerator. Hotel Fonda Vela has two restaurants: the elegant and spacious Galleria, seating 80 people and offering large windows for beautiful, tropical views, and the cozy Fireside Restaurant, seating 30 persons, with a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The Canopy Bar is a full service bar offering tropical beverages in a friendly ambience. In addition, the hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, a pool table, a daily happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the pool bar, laundry service and internet access.
