Located at only 90 minutes from San Jose or from Arenal Volcano area, Hacienda Pozo Azul Tent Rooms is a magical place that combines nature with comfort, the rugged with the modern, relaxation with excitement. It was originally a 2000-acre working ranch; nowadays it also operates different adventures with the highest quality of service and security. Hacienda Pozo Azul Tent Suites offers 30 comfortable tent rooms fully equipped with two queen size beds or one king size bed, one night table, fan, private bathroom with hot water, closet, telephone, a furnish private deck, electricity and even internet access.
Other facilities are dinning area for breakfast in the mornings and happy hours in the afternoon, a restaurant with a spectacular view of the Sarapiquí River, TV room, reading room, a computer available for guests, convenience store and private parking. Among the many activities, guests and visitors can enjoy a two hour horseback ride through pristine forest or a canopy tour ending with a spectacular 900-foot zip line across the Sarapiqui River. White water rafting is another option, as well as descending a 90-feet wall on the Sarapiqui River canyon.
