Day 1

Arrival Transfer from the International Airport to Hotel

Meet and greet at Juan Santamaría International Airport after taking the flights to Costa Rica, and transfer to your hotel.

Night in Costa Rica Marriott: Deluxe Room.

 

Day 2

Pacuare River Rafting Adventure (B, L, D)

Your Costa Rica adventure starts rafting down the Pacuare River through breathtaking canyons and luxuriant vegetation to reach the singular Pacuare Lodge.

Early morning pick-up at the lobby of your hotel to be transferred to Pacuare river put-in (approx. 2H30). A typical Costa Rican breakfast is included in a local restaurant, in route.

Day 3

Rainforest Hike and Cabecar Indian Visit (B, L, D)

You’ll wake up to bird song and the soothing sound of the river nearby. Then head over to the main lodge for a delicious breakfast of home-made bread, tropical fruits, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, cereal and juice and coffee.

This morning, enjoy a rainforest hike and discover the Cabecar culture.

Night in Pacuare Lodge, Linda Vista Suite

Day 4

Rafting in Pacuare River – Arenal (B, L)

Breakfast at the lodge. Departure from the lodge between 9:00 and 10:00 am.

In the morning, you will depart by raft for an even more fun-filled day of white water rafting excitement (approximately 3½ hours over class III-IV rapids), including a delicious picnic lunch along the river. At the river take-out, you will have a chance to change clothes before taking the private transfer to Arenal region (approx. 4h30min).

This region offers a landscape of exceptional beauty with its forests, lakes, crop fields, hot water rivers and one of the most active volcanoes of Costa Rica: the Arenal.

Day 5

Arenal Sky Tram & Sky Trek, Volcano hike and Tabacón Hot Springs (B, D)

Breakfast included in the hotel.

In the morning, enjoy a private tour to Sky Tram (aerial tram) & Sky Trek (canopy tour).

Night in Arenal Nayara Hotel & Gardens, Nayara Suite

Day 6

Arenal – Papagayo Peninsula (B)

After a delicious breakfast, private transfer to the Four Seasons Papagayo Peninsula Hotel (3 hours approximately).

Days at leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel during the final stage of your Costa Rica vacations.

Day 7

Papagayo Peninsula – San José

Private transfer to Liberia Costa Rica airport to take a local flight back to San José Costa Rica. At arrival, private transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport.
